– “We’re waiting, Gogo.”

– “We’re waiting for the bus, Gogo.”

-“Ah, yes, I forgot.”

Didi and Gogo are seated on a bench at a bus stop, engaged in the art of waiting. Waiting, after all, is an activity in its own right. Perhaps it is the very act of waiting that somehow fills life in its entirety? With a touch of whimsy and absurd humor, Anna Höglund invites readers into the world of her children’s book, “Didi och Gogo väntar på bussen,” offering a playful interpretation of Beckett’s classic theater piece, “Waiting for Godot.”

In Pelle Öhlund’s direction and adaptation of the book, the story becomes a funny and clever theater performance at Moomsteatern, for children aged 6-9 and all adults with a youthful spirit! On stage, you will meet Moomsteatern’s actors Dennis Mortensson, Therese Kvist, and Tryggve Algeus in the children’s production “I väntan på bussen” (Waiting for the Bus).

“I väntan på bussen” will be performed on the home stage in Malmö and on tour in other municipalities during the autumn of 2023!
